Boys Frosh/Soph Conference @ Monterey Stadium

Wednesday night was an opportunity for the Madison Memorial's Frosh/Soph Boys to compete against the Big Eight competition as they traveled to Monterey Stadium in Janesville. Not all of our Frosh/Soph competed because many were in the varsity meet on Tuesday but the Frosh/Soph who represented the Spartans had a great finish to their season. In the Frosh competition Madison Memorial scored 92 points to finish in 4th place while the Sophomores scored 62.5 points to tie for 6th place. There is a lot of potential in this group and with hard work they will be joining the varsity ranks very soon.

Although we didn't have any individual champions on the night there were many top performances. Scoring performances included: 2nd place by Giovanni S in the pole vault (10' 6"), Casey GT in the 3200m run (11:09.54), Van T in the 200m dash (24.89), Zach H in the 800m run (2:11.67), the frosh 4x100m relay (48.04), Calvin J in the 400m dash (56.78), the frosh 4x200m relay (1:44.64), 3rd place finishes by Donovan O in the 400m dash (56.58), the soph 4x100m relay (50.27), Ty B in the 800m run (2:20.79), John A in shot put (36' 9.5"), James N in shot put (35' 6"), Van T in triple jump (37' 5"), 4th place by Lukas D in shot put (33' 2"), Kyle F in the 200m dash (25.21), the soph 4x200m relay (1:43.85), 5th place by Ben T in the 3200m run (11:42.75), Lukas D in discus (78' 5"), the soph 4x400m relay (3:58.58), 6th place by Van T in long jump (17' 4), John A in discus (89' 5.5"), Alec D in shot put (30' 6.5"), Donovan O in high jump (4' 10"), Austin W in the 800m run (2:30.66), 7th place by Ean M in the 100m dash (12.26), Ryan Y in the 200m dash (25.44), Trevor W in the 3200m run (12:07.23), Jansen H in the 3200m run (12:29.37), the frosh 4x400m relay (4:21.19), Ryan Y in high jump (4' 8"), Tommy K in pole vault (9' 0"), and 8th places by Malachi A in the 200m dash (27.11), Jared G in the 1600m run (5:37.60), & Ben H in 100m dash (12.37).
